My Approach

It is my privilege to have the opportunity to be part of your family’s journey and I take my role as a member of your team seriously. My goals are to:

  • Understand your concerns and the challenges your child or loved one is facing.
  • Use proven evidence-based evaluation approaches.
  • Focus on individual strengths as well as areas of need.
  • Consider functioning in all areas including home, school (if applicable), community, and within social and family relationships.
  • Rely on my expertise in brain-behavior relationships to help understand information gathered and next steps.
  • Give you a clear, readable, and useful report that serves as a road map for the foreseeable future.
  • Give recommendations and share available research supporting them.
  • Work together with family, school (if appropriate), and medical team members to identify specific and doable steps forward.
