Hollie Duonnolo, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and nationally certified school psychologist with extensive experience helping parents, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges. She specializes in evidence-based therapy, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a strong commitment to neuroaffirming care. She also has extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Her extensive experience offering executive functioning (EF) training or “coaching,” goes beyond just strategies and tools – she integrates ACT-based approaches to help individuals make meaningful and sustainable change. Dr. Duonnolo received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Iowa in 2012 and completed her pre-doctoral internship through the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium at Maine East High School. She then pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she provided therapy and psychological assessments to college students with disabilities.

Following her postdoc, Dr. Duonnolo worked as an educational and clinical psychologist in Glasgow, Scotland, providing consultation, assessment, and staff training to schools while also offering therapy to adolescents and adults in private practice. She later returned to DRES, where she managed mental health services, supervised psychology graduate students, conducted individual therapy with college students, and provided psychological assessments, including evaluations for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders.

Whether working with parents navigating challenging behaviors, young adults adjusting to life transitions or providing children, or teens diagnostic clarity and support, Dr. Duonnolo fosters a collaborative and warm environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and seeing live music.n
