CNS is located in Bryn Mawr, a Main Line suburb west of Philadelphia located in Montgomery County and within the Lower Merion School District. The office is easily accessible by major highways (I-476; Route 30/Lancaster Avenue) as well as public transportation – the Bryn Mawr SEPTA stop and bus line are within a half a mile. The office is wheelchair accessible and has elevator access to the 2nd floor location.

Payment and Insurance

I am out-of-network with insurance companies and do not process insurance claims directly. However, CNS is an insurance-friendly practice. I will provide all necessary paperwork so you can file a claim with your insurance company if you choose. See FAQ regarding insurance for more information

Fees vary based on the service. I will never include ‘hidden fees.’ 

  • Neuropsychological evaluations are $4800 and include record review, initial consultation, patient interview, comprehensive in-person testing covering a broad range of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional domains, scoring, interpretation, collaboration with others (physicians, educators, therapists, etc.), a 60-minute feedback session, and a comprehensive report.
  • ADHD evaluations are $2500 and include record review, initial consultation, patient interview, targeted in-person testing, scoring, interpretation, a 60-minute feedback, and a report.
  • Psychoeducational Evaluations are $3800 and include record review, initial consultation, patient interview, targeted in-person testing, scoring, interpretation, feedback, collaboration, and report.
  • Testing for Standardized Test Accommodations is $3500 and includes record review, initial consultation, patient interview, targeted in-person testing, scoring, interpretation, feedback, collaboration, and report.
  • Testing for Giftedness or Admission to Private school is $500 and includes a brief interview with parent(s), 1.5-2 hours of intelligence testing, scoring, interpretation, and a brief report.
  • Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) are billed directly to your child’s school and include record review, initial consultation, patient interview, school observation, in-person testing, scoring, interpretation, collaboration with others (physicians, educators, therapists, etc.), a 60-minute feedback session with the family and school, and a comprehensive report.
  • Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) are conducted in the context of a legal proceeding and include extensive record review, initial consultation, patient interview, in-person testing, scoring, interpretation, collaboration with others, as appropriate, and a comprehensive report.
  • Concussion assessment and short-term intervention typically involves an initial consultation ($250) and short-term therapy (3-5 sessions; $200 per 50 min session). Testing, if needed, is $300/hour.
  • Therapy/Intervention. I have limited therapy slots, but provide:
            – Individual or family-based therapy – $250 for initial consult; $200 for 50-min session.
            – Evidence-based intervention for ADHD which includes executive functioning coaching and 
               management of ADHD symptoms. The treatment is best suited for teens and young adults.

I communicate with other providers (psychologists, physicians) as well as schools as part of my evaluations at no cost to you. School observations and attendance at school meetings is offered at the hourly rate of $300/hour. Travel time may also apply. Additionally, each evaluation includes one 60-minute feedback session. Feedback sessions beyond this either with your child or subsequent feedback sessions with the patient or parent are billed at the $300 hourly rate.  

Payment for the initial 50-minute consultation ($250 for therapy; $300 for evaluations) is due before the scheduled appointment. The remaining balance is billed at testing. You can by cash or check. Credit cards are also accepted. Importantly, you can use the pre-tax dollars in your Health Savings or Flexible Spending Account (HSA/FSA). If cost is a barrier, I also offer lower cost options or payment plans for families in need. Just ask. 

Consultation – I offer:

1. Professional Consultation to organizations or clinicians seeking input from a neuropsychologist. Common consultation topics relate to assessment, neuropsychology service models in hospitals and in the community, neurodevelopment and implications for your organization, and program development and evaluation. The rate is $150/hour.

2. Family Consultation and Document Review which could involve review of evaluation reports, educational plans (IEPs, 504 Plans) or relevant medical or psychological records. The goal is to provide guidance and recommendations for next steps. The rate is $300/hour.
